Hey guys, I think I win a litle bit
CHOKING GAS! FTW!
For 1...10 seconds, your arrows deal 1...7 more damage and spread Choking Gas to all adjacent foes on impact. Choking Gas interrupts foes attempting to cast spells.
Choking Gas=No more spells that Mallyx uses, and I saw that at the 'force teleport' thing he does is a spell, so this might work provided that you have Practiced Stance/Choking Gas and Incindiary Arrow/Arcane Mimicry rangers and focus fire when he's "choking", I suppose that could solve one problem. GG.
So if I just happen to be right, kudos to myself ^_^

Maybe a ball with wards, use Diversion to slow his skills and some method of spamming Shadowsong?

if you use shadowsong, he'll eat that blind for 300 heal constantly....
you'll do nothing but help him heal himself...

Dude, he cast the spell in 0.375second cast time.
Those arrows have very little chance of interrupting that.

You DO realize, that you have to have his energy to zero BEFORE you are able to use the SV/AV combo for that to work, right? otherwise, he'll simply strip it before his enery is anywhere even near zero. Yeah, drain a Level 30 boss's energy to zero before casting SV/AV.... not possible.
So far, the best suggestions I'm hearing are the ones using Weapon spells for Rt.
Rit appears to be a key figure in facing Mallyx.

Already tried doesnt work, he teleports one after another out of the wards and kills when all are spreaded; even knocks you down in stability ward:-(

has anyone tried EoE yet. Cause Mallyx ==Demon; Margonites == Demons
Depending on what the other spawns are it might be just spawnkilling after 80% or so. I am far from mallyx..so this is just an idea.

EoE works only if mobs are under 90%. Get mallyx to 90% THEN go kill margonites nice idea if only Mallyx's health didnt jump to max in about 2 seconds

Have you guys tried using Mistrust? ( http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Mistrust ) And if you think a Mesmer is not an option for the previous battles, then E/Me can use it non-stop (presuming at least 2 of them have it so they can cycle it, and if you use 3 of them then you don't need to invest so many points in domination, just a few and you got it covered)
Even though it would need a cover hex so Mallyx can't remove it

8 man echo wastrel's worry spam?--since hexes last 1/3 as long on him you should be able to kill him really quickly. Granted he may use his hex removing/healing skill, the damage should outdo the removal, and wastrel's recharge counteract his skill's recharge. That's how I kill 2/3 of the bosses in GW, including Abaddon. It should work.
Disclaimer: This is theory. I haven't beaten any of the 4 parts of the quest nor have i done much in DoA due to GW inactivity, please do not flame, thanks.

Before you can try to kill Mallyx you got to kill "some" Mobs, so Your Idea is unfortunately impossible...

I'm not sure whether to laugh at you for attempting the mission or applaud you if you actually get all the way to Mallyx with heroes. Heroes most definitely have NOTHING to do with this

Gaile mentioned in another one of the "zomg DoA is too hard" threads that the testers had played through and beaten DoA fairly (including the mission itself, presumably). No idea on how many times or with how many different builds they did it, but it HAS been done.

Actually, the Resurrect that the Priests of Sorrows use is a monster-only version of this spell, having an energy cost of only 5. /offtopic
